Hero

The dancing Astaire represents a certain way of thinking that was conveyed to me through “innocent” entertainment and popular culture. I allow myself to stay with the image and let it do the questioning, revealing the complexities of this structure that is there as a psychological projection and a cultural construction. The hero that holds a constellation of possibilities is also suppressing what doesn’t fit the narrative.
