Make Believe

To make believe is an expression associated with play, an act of imagination. Something that belongs to childhood. It is also a suspension of disbelief while actively ignoring incoherences and the evident failure of all the rules. The paintings are from imagery and toys associated with learning and play. They pose questions and seem to hold contradicting realities with their presence.
